    Hokay, I'll nibble...

Do my eyes detect macho denting pink plastics in these photos? :-) http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=100880

    (That is the bike right?)

In that other thread it mentions a bunch of other stuff (heated grips, packrack, ...) is that part of the deal?

I'm sort of interested... except I'll have to factor in the costs of flying to Auckland from Chch, taxi out to you, the risk that its a dud, riding back south, cook strait ferry fees .... when I compare it to the local offerings.

Anyone know where one can get paints that will stick to plastics, won't wash off if I get petrol on it, and I can paint a nice mural over that pink!?

There's no pink. The original photos were either from a bad camera or it was removed before sale.

    Yeah, right!
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

Casual forum chit-chat doth not the basis of a sales contract make...

The first post says "must sell this bike/SUZUKI DR650K8 in Bleck"
"heated grips/Bark busters/Bash plate and New Trailwings tyres front/rear", but gives the vague implication that it is the same package as
    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=100880

Your post does not explicitly mention...

    TKC Conti tyres
    Ventura Packrack

...although it would seem to be part of the previous package.

If I were to pitch up and hand you the cash and you failed to hand me those items, you'd be right in a court of law, but I'd be vaguely disgruntled. (Given I'd be driving the thing a Long Way Home..., I'd need the rack although I don't want the extra tyres (couldn't carry them! ))

So rather than have an argument later about what exactly you promised, I like to get it all explicit and spelt out before.

Computer Programmers are like lawyers. Except we think lawyers are too sloppy and not nearly pedantic enough, no wonder their programs (contracts) end up in court (have bugs) so often!

An engineer, a physicist, and a mathematician were on a train heading north, and had just crossed the border into Scotland.

    * The engineer looked out of the window and said "Look! Scottish sheep are black!"
    * The physicist said, "No, no. Some Scottish sheep are black."
    * The mathematician looked irritated. "There is at least one field, containing at least one sheep, of which at least one side is black."

Righto! Cue the jokes about South Islanders and sheep....

Speaking as a mathematician... is that a "Bleck" bike or a "bleck and pink" bike of which
    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/at...8&d=1244363066
is a current and accurate photo. :-)

Not that I care hugely... my macho would survive if it were pink on pink... but my son will be pissed. :-) With luck it'll keep him off it!
