ok, i'm wrong then. whats your gear ?
You suck...
so hang on, wait, did you count as gear when you rode bitch?
Least you're a bit of extra padding!
I have a cordura jacket i got on sale from when i first started riding (Goretex FTW) Got a dririder overjacket to use if i get caught out in my leather jacket, but i dont like riding in it (find it restricts my freedom of movement and the riding fee quite a lot)
Workmans over-trousers to put over pants if needed. Got em on sale for $20 (Emphatex brand, soft thin flexible but 100% waterproof.) The only drawback is they dont breathe at all, so can be a bit clammy under them for a long ride.
Alpinestars waterproof gloves, do up my wrists on the jacket over top of them and they've never leaked. (My old Spidi H2Outs leaked like a sieve first wet ride this winter, so got rid of them quick smart)
Gearne sport/road boots, have only ever leaked the slightest little bit at the bottom of one of the zips, but that was after riding through a lot of surface water and effectively close-range waterblasting them for a 2-day ride.
i always wear a hood under my helmet and tucked into my jacket (Rev-it brand, full hood with a bit down the chest.) helps stop rain getting in round the neck, and dripping in off the helmet. Also keeps the wind noise down a lot, and stops bees and rocks getting down into the jacket (has saved me at least three times that i have noticed)
Used to be in a Nitro helmet, now in a Shoei Multitec. Only had minor leaks if i've been stupid enough to ride in rain with the top vents open. Never had a problem otherwise.
IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!!
Do the peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat!
I commute daily in Revit 2 piece oversuit. Friday afternoon for example where it was bucketing down and I was in rush hour traffic, a good 40 - 45mins of solid rain, I got home bone dry. Hasn't let me down yet.
DriRider one piece hurricane was a heap of crap though, always gave me a wetspot near my groin!!
Who did I have a little ride with on Thursday evening? Lovely looking red 900 on the southern at about 5:20pm (i think). I was the dude n the silver hornet 250 giving ya the thumbs up on an excellent choice of wheels![]()
