Am I the only one confused as to what is going on?
There is no way you are going to fix the problems you have outlined in post 1 through the spark plug hole.

Do you KNOW what is wrong with the motor, or is that what you are trying to establish?

Haha na I was trying to establish it previously but as of yesterday my rear cylinder has been taken apart and now I know for sure what is wrong :P probably should have stated that.

Ok, so the update in your first post is correct then?
Just the date listed for the update is the 27th of July, hence the time line of the posts threw me.
So is the distributor coming to the party with cost?
    Who is doing the work?

Fooken good on you. Stick to your guns, but don't be obstreperous.
If they don't, ensure you keep receipts and take them to small claims.
It only costs $20.00 and a little of your time.

Yea I've also kept the receipts from the time when the pistons in all 3 of my brake calipers rusted and seized at 14000 kms... and when my clutch cable snapped on xmas morning at 15000kms... haha WOO!

And my partners mums family friend works at Russell McVeagh (nice big lawfirm) so he can draft me up a letter on Russell McVeagh Letter head which I'm hoping will help

Good one bud. She'll be right as rain shortly. I'm sure everyone will be interested to hear what the mechanic had to say.

    Steve
"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
