    Go on, it'll be great...

Actually I have no real idea how many are coming on this ride but the plans are roughly...Autobahn first, Tuakau bridge next, Nikau caves for coffee then Raglan.
If I'm missing something / someone, let me know.

I'll watch the weather and see which tyres I'm going to use....or if I'm coming at all.And I'll be able to bail anytime on the ride and not be too far from home.

Right you lot, the weather forecast looks like it will "just" be ok, showers clearing in the morning and then real rain returning at night, I won't need to pack any wet weather gear then will I?

For those that don't know me, I will be the bald "mature "guy on a black 990 Adventure hanging around the Autobahn cafe tomorrow morning at 8.45ish.

9.00am we leave so make sure you have gas and anything else you want before then.

Planning on meeting you lot at the Nikau Caves Cafe.

What time do you think you will get there ????

This is really a bit of a guess but I suspect 10.30ish as the route I have planned is a bit slow and windy.
Don't drink all the coffee before we arrive ok?

    I am having to bale....
I will be hitting the Leslie Rd route tomorrow....
exploring the Mamaku areas once again.
Have a good ride guys, I have done the Kawhia areas etc lots o' times and it is awesome! the roads were nicely groomed last weekend in preparation for the Rally NZ stages...
I am going to go off road and hit the forestry.... Aotea beach, through the dunes boys, cut down to the foreshore as soon as you can, it is hard packed!
    Enjoy!

    Yeah, alright then
But I'll meet you lot out there, cos I'm doing the seal to Nikau, and then make a decision as to go dirty or smooth

good ride today guys. Thanks heaps!

Got pretty wet getting out of Raglan, really bucketed down coming through the ranges before Whatawhata. Nothing to do but charge onwards.

Pleasantly it was a dry trip up from Te Kowhai all the way home.
