If its just a piston/ring etc then could be worth but if its grenaded the bore it could be a diff story

Guees the real question is how cheap is it

And they are super easy to rebuild took me all up about 2 hours max to do mine and id never done one before the next one i did was even quicker

And both bikes still going strong after about 40hrs
Even on the old ones if you dont race serious and you wanna just go do the odd club day and smoke everyone on a big old 5hundy it great and if you get beaten you have a handful of excuses

If it's a two smoker it should be pretty straight forward and will be good practice for you.I rebuilt one in my flat's kitchen with nothing more then very basic tools.(My flatmates weren't too impressed with all the bits everywhere though)
Never too old to Rock n Roll.

buy it, but mikata parts from motocrossparts.co.nz for $130 ish

then tell us after a while if its still mint, nobody seems to want to use these bits in case their expensive bike goes bang, but im yet to find anything bad about them!

buy a mitaka bottom end too then!

the motocrossparts guy reckons he's a engine machinist with 25 years experience in the industry, and theyve been selling that brand for over a year now, so they cant be too bad.
