Its the same as being experienced on the back roads around the rapa now with the increase in police cars cruising around. Why? Because once again said rossi wannabes have been using the roads like a racetrack and the general population have had enough!!!!!

I am all for people being able to use their bikes to the maximum potential and I know that I could never ride a 1 litre sportsbike to anywhere near its potential (and I hasten to add that few owners can either) but ffs, if you want to act like and look like rossi, then go to a damn track day!!!!!!!! Otherwise all that will happen is that it is going to get harder to enjoy any roads anywhere...just my opinion
Ack... no, yer misunderestimating me... I hate riders who treat other road users like crap... it's the video of the knob stuck in traffic all the way up and then aborting all the corners on the way down that offended me... don't watch it if you value your sanity.

This "knob" is heading over the Hill tomorrow arvo, care to meet?

That vid was shot on a mid 80's GT 750 Kawasaki with a liking for jumping out of gear under engine braking. My Trophy is Not so inclined.

However, don't take this as a challenge to a race, more as a see what I mean.
Give a fuck, the world needs more love.

To be fair it's not the wind, boy racers, trucks, or drivers who won't pull over that worry me on the hill. The thing I fear the most is meeting one of the Rossi wannabe's knee down commited to a line that takes bike and body over the centre line as their wheels brush the apex. Double yellows won't stop it...

I got so sick of the Rossi wannabes that I only ride the Takas or Piecock during the week when they are all at school.

I have had dickhead racer wannabes cut me off, dropping in on my front wheel exiting corners they thought they could pass me on, until they see the cage or truck coming the other way.

In all seriousness, I'm gonna hate this yellow line bullshit, but SOME OF YOU, and you will know who you are, ARE partly to blame. By treating the Hill as your own private race track, and the behaviour that goes with such arrogant road use, you have fucked it up for those who like to ride hard, but not at the expense and safety of other road users.

In closing, this is what the Hill should be remembered like.

Its not the crazy bikers who have caused this. We have been using the rimutukas as a race track since before most of us were born.

It's the current wave of idiot drivers that is causing the grief. Idiots, in cars and on bikes that can't ride to the left hand side. As a nation, we tend to all get a frontal labotomy when we start driving.

    My apologies
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

Popped over Saturday, the hill is almost completely double yellowed.
It's fucked I'm afraid, no good whinging, its done.
    At least I figure I've had 45 odd years. I feel so safe now , don't you ? G.

ps and to cap it off, there was a camera van on the straight (Hutt side) waiting to nab the pissed off motorists after a painfull crawl from featherston.

I suggest if you've got a Wednesday off you go up the hill and ride real slow (1st gear slow) in front of the cops training up there.

In fact, next fine Wednesday I might do just that.
