Well, the Classic Club ride on Sat was a bit ho-hum.
Did'nt really get going and by the time you got past the oldies we were at the first stop, Puketap Pub. Then just a short blast to the clubrooms after that.
How was the ride to Wairoa on the BF run?
The usual crew?
Could'nt make the kickoff in time for that.
Seems the guy shot yesterday while you guys were riding past was a patched mobster.

Thanks for your post also. I do understand what you are saying, but am still left wondering whether you would have reacted as you did to my post, had YOU not lived within the cordon area. I suspect not. And seeing that I had no idea that anyone in this thread lived within that cordon I never thought a need for special sensitivity.
The time: I posted just after we had ridden (at 101km/h) in the very location where the incident occurred, attracting the very organisation that we, as riders, all try so very hard to avoid whilst out riding. I was referring to a ‘WHEW!!!’ moment.
The place: ‘KiwiBiker Hawkes Bay Weekend Rides’ thread. A place which could be considered by some as being a modern-day ‘party-line’ where we all get to converse casually and freely about riding in the Hawkes Bay on the Weekend.
I would hope that someone on here understood and understands my intent. I'm starting to wonder wheter I should wear my helmet in here as well as on rides.![]()
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Just another bridge get over it, all is forgiven. Yannis your ok but some of us are sensative to some of those smilies. These Guys and Gals will bend over backwards to help one another out, so normaly if something is posted up that is not apropriate to the reader you will get flak. Its like John posted up (MSTRS) the writer and the reader.
No need to whare your helmit on this site, well you can but we cant see you![]()

Lorenzo World Champ
It was a good turn out with 15 bikes, 3 being 2-up. Some new riders too, (good to see you Charlied1). It was a slow ride, which was nice (between 120-140km). Road conditions were great. Nice dry roads and no gravel or shit on it either.
No incidents (thank goodness) except for a mother and her ducklings crossing the road infront of a group of riders on the way back, but all ended good there, albeit on the wrong side of the road trying to avoid them, but no feathers flew (phew).
Got back to Burger Fuel for a burger and prize giving thanks to Five Star Suzuki.
Great day for it - shame you (and Morepower missed it :rofl)
ha ha she broke the gsxr
