CCA: Coromandel Camping Adventure

It's mah Birthday, so I'm organising a bit of a get together

28th/29th of November, camping at Fletchers Bay at the top of the Coromandel.

Make your own way there on the Saturday - either explore the interesting gravel roads on your way up, or turn up early and go fishing. I'll be spending Saturday mountain biking with my 'other' friends

We'll have a bbq on Saturday night. Bring something for the barbie, and some drinks.

I'll organise a bit of a ride for the Sunday morning over to Stony bay.

Bring your tent, your togs and your fishing rod

And $9 to pay for the camping.
You can bring your family, but please don't bring any dogs

Despite my first thoughts on this weekend, my personal organiser (Nicky) interfered and reminded me that my son is getting married in Brisbane that weekend and for reasons that escape me, I am expected to be there.

Definate starter for this one. Happy to lead any group of riders up on the way via a few gravel roads. Would suggest leaving from the Kopu pub car park at 10.00 am and lunch in Coro

DR has been hibernating over winter with rego on hold,so time to get registered and out for my first ride of the summer.

Might be keen for that, have to see closer to the time.
