    Shoei visors

I'm wondering which is better mirror tinted visor or a gold tinted visor with the pin lock for shoei helmets?

thanks for the reminder. I'm still suffering the trauma over dropping the bike.

I found the half tint visor worked best for me (with a pinlock). I can ride with it day or night, cold or warm.

You will find both perform identically. It really comes down to personal taste. The great thing about mirrored visors is if you get caught out at night it is more forgiving.

Remember though they do get scratched VERY easily, and once they are scratched you can notice it when using the visor.

I reckon golds cooler than the chrome mirror...but that is just personal taste.
