K760 is on the back. Innova is on the front.

    All ready to go!

    That was fun.
I'm just picking gorse out of my arms now...

Mountainbike tracks are a bit much for adventure bikes.
Especially going up the downhill tracks

OK, all you knowledgable buggers -
Ive got 4 hours play-time tomorrow. Not sure what time that starts yet, but where's a good place to explore?
Nothing too gnarly, just a bit of cruisy time?
    Cheers.

Please don't fuck up the MTB tracks - people put a lot of work into them (well sometimes they're just there but you know what I mean)

BTW I don't think I'll be doing Dakar anytime soon judging by my poor performance tonite on the PS2

    Hira's out due to logging.
Been out to Hori bay over the whangamoas? Primo riding out there & lots of tracks to explore.

We went up the one that ended in shoulder high gorse.
Hadn't been used in a while.
There were 2 other well used ones beside it.

One cool thing about adventuring I've noticed on a couple of recent rides is the wildlife.

Monday's Maungatapu ride I startled a deer (doh!)and we stared each other down for 20s before she ambled off into the bush.

Tuesday up Ben Nevis and coming down from the start of the tramping track I watched a scrum of 5 tiny black pigglies meander across the road and up the bank into the bush.

    Ride tomorrow

Looking at having a look around the Hori Bay tracks from 1pm or so.
I'm leaving the road tyres on for the ride this time so it'll be a good cruise.
