    How the world ended

this is my comic strip of how the world ended (series of chain reactions). picture attached.

A man holding his glasses in the air accidently magnifys the suns rays into a pile of leaves which start to burn, a burning leaf gets blown away in the wind and lands at the base of a tree. the burning tree falls over hitting the barrel of an army tank which is training, the barrel swings around, the smoke from the fire makes the gunman sneeze and he pulls the trigger of the main gun, the bullet strikes a oil ship off the coast which sinks causing massive oil spill. an oil covered seagull flys away into the engine of a flying jet, so it explodes then falls into the sea. the jet collides with a nuclear submarine which explodes and takes out pretty much everything except africa. a bit of debree gets launched and flys around the world to africa and hits the president, killing him as he says a speech. the bodyguard believes he is assasinated by a sniper. he spots a man on a skyscraper and shoots at him, missing the building and he hits an african 5 km away near a drinking stream. his aids infested blood leaks into the water which everyone is drinking, everyone drinks it and dies.

now tell me your series of events which leads to total extermination of the human race

Wow. It's the Rube Goldberg Apocalypse.

You might have a little too much time on your hands to have thought that one up. However, picturing that as a comic strip actually sounds interesting.

Global warming causes the bee population to die(1). Flowers no longer go through the polination process, and grass starts to die out from lack of rain (2). Dust storms start to become common as the earth dries out (3). Water plates drop (4). Trees start to die. Oxygen becomes a rare commodity. Life on the planet dies.

    1. California is starting to see this already, since 2004 bee populations have dropped massively.

    2. The world water levels are receeding, google ships in the desert to see images.

    3. Sydney?

    4. Read the Cadillac Desert for a scientists report on this, it's actually happening.

    5. Deforestation isn't helping either.

The Stern report, which was thought of as doom and gloom, was considered to be inaccurate. Scientists agree - it's actually MUCH worse than Stern predicted.

Do I need to draw a cartoon now?
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

    Let me perfect that.

Because someone spilt a bottle of expired milk in the fridge, and damage the fridge during cleaning process, he then buys a fridge on TradeMe. Having accidentally drop it when picking up, the dropped fridge resulted in ruptured compressor tank, which then releases the CFC gas that enlarges the hole on the ozone layer above NZ. This causes the global warming (which is currently at equillibrium stage) to advance to the next stage, leading to the death of the bee population.

Nice. Recently I found my 10 year old drawing, similar to that. I'll post one up later.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
