Perhaps cops are worried about the example it sets when Little Johnny trries to ride his BMX over and falls off the bridge.....It was a great stunt but as others have said perhaps some forward planning wouldn't of gone amiss

I think NZ is too PC and Soft.. where are this Johnny's irresponsible parents, perhaps they have something to say about why they would let there little Johnny ride humps at that age.

People have been performing stunts for years... kids, adults monkeys.. you name it.

I dont disagree...my son did an illegal abseil off the mangaweka viaduct much to the delight of the Jap tourists at the bottom....my mum wouldnt of known a 1/4 of what I got up to as a kid. Kids are curious is all

Does the bit at the end of the video with Carver talking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60NCcEuuu0Q not give it away?? I guess the guy who ACTUALLY did it could have finished up, given Carver his gear to put on. Or you might both own the exact same gear. Who does the bike belong to?

Is there a law that says - you are not allowed to ride a motorbike over the arches of a bridge?

Obviously this has been classed as dangerous driving (riding).

You all say no one was in danger ... sure, I don't disagree with that necessarily, but is anyone in danger when someone attempts a quarter mile down an empty street in the middle of nowhere with a handbrake turn at the end? ... No they are not! Hasn't stopped the cops from prosecuting them for dangerous driving (if caught of course!!).

I for one will not be giving you money Carver, you seem to have plenty enough cash to buy bikes, wreck them, buy another bike, wreck/thrash that etc etc, pay exhuberant amounts of $$ for the petrol you must burn through, buy video cameras, an internet connection to upload them to you tube. Or maybe someone else foots the bill for all that ... then ask them to fund your legal aid!! Why all of a sudden a slow in the cash flow? Did mum and dad cut you off after this stunt??

Whoever gave me red rep for this one ... I'm pretty sure I can guess ....can suck it.

I'm entitled to my opinion, and this forum is asking for it .... and I gave it.

I'm not crying about it.

Carver can do what he wants, but why should other people have to pay for it .... as has been said, there are much more worthwhile causes then saving Carver from probably a relatively mediocre fine which probably wouldn't even cost the 2k he is asking for as a 'good start'.

Obviously he's been prosecuted for something before as otherwise he would get diversion wouldn't he??

I think we should start a green bling fund. Obviously Mschvs has done nothing wrong. There was no sign on the thread saying "don't post your opinion".
