Not my first bike, but I had one of them!
Bought it in 1976, sold it in '77 when I was a poor uni student and ran out of money.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Ah the Honda CJ250T

A classic in that it was one of the first ones (I think) to have the nice tail end.

This is not my old bike I might add. Mine was a stunner.

Gutless scrape everything type bike but it was my first real bike sigh...

    Ar50

My first bike was a Kawasaki AR50 1984, in Kawa Green. Loved it. 16yrs old and 40mph downhill with a tailwind. Evebtually saved enough money and got a licence so upgraded to a Kawasaki KR1-S. Happy days.

    First bike, PW50.

First road going two wheeled motorised machine, Nifty Fifty.

First road going motorcycle, Suzuki A50.

(All photos shamelessly stolen from Google image seach, I doubt I have real ones)

Others I can remember which I spent considerable time riding in rough chronological order...
LT50 trike (this was fun on mud!)
    Z50
I think there was a YZ80 or 50 in here somewhere
Vanvan, I think we had 2 of these, a 50 and a 90 from memory
    Motocompo (look that up)
    DR80
225DX Yamaha Trike or something like it
Famous James (stretching the definition, I didn't ride it much, it spent most of it's time in storage, originally dad bought it intended for me (you can guess my name), but it wasn't really going to be very suitable for University etc :-) so unfortunatly it had to go, in favor of...)
Honda Gyro Canopy with a mega huge box on it
CBX250 (brother's, borrowed on many occasions when mine died)
    GN250 (x 2 more or less)
XV250 (first bike purchased with my own hard earned money)

Dad being a second hand dealer, has made for a somewhat unusual line up.

Raced it at Ruapuna in the first ever one hour endurance race. Finished third in the 350cc class believe it or not...probably because the brakes faded out totally and I couldn't slow down even when I wanted to...
A mate of mine had the Red Hunter. He loved it.
