Yeah bro, one of my best friends and her boyfriend were staying at one of the resorts that got decimated. Luckily they had a car and were able to get away as where they were staying currently has one of the highest death tolls due to being right on the beach.

Thats good to hear theyre safe bro I think you said in another post that the lady had a instinct to get out of the hotel and thats what saved her and the guy. I know of a few people who will have to go back and attend the funerals of their cousins, poor people having to go through that. Samoans are really nice people, the community bond is so tight that everyone knows each other.

She would have been freaking out as it wasn't that long ago that she got KO'd when a wave knocked her out of her kayak and made the boat hit her in the head. She almost drowned and has had a fear of open water ever since. I have seen a few videos of what it was like to be in the tsunami, both during and after, and it doesn't make for nice viewing.
