Talking Big RAP for ANZA - Palmerston North

I had the pleasure of visiting the Mahawatu this weekend, solely for pleasure and what a pleasure it was on many levels

While having lunch and chewing the fat with a couple of friends in Palmy on Saturday a sudden urge to visit ANZA was upon us, so off we went. Now we tyre kicked a fair bit before entering the shop proper. They have some very yummy bikes to drool over, so it was no hardship really. Eventually we went inside and began the humiliating process of finding a replacement pair of non leaking pants for me. Humiliating only because I am not as little as I thought I was

I was told to get over myself at one point, but had the last laugh, or I was laughed at anyway...

I had not released the tightened to the max velcro adjusters and was not as big as I thought I was

We go to pay, and yes of course we are members of their group and as such we qualify for member discount A general chinwag and talkfest saw me being dragged kicking and screaming (read, about ran there) to the workshop to have a sit on the recommended beast of "potato" and OMG! It was lovely, and light, and I was shocked, and wish I had the funds for. It looked nothing like this though

It was orange and black and not only could my feet reach the ground, the forward controls (I would change them) were no problem either. When I hopped on it and stood it up it is light as a feather , about leapt off the sidestand into my hands.

Now, all this has a point you will be pleased to hear. I would like to give ANZA in Palmerston North a BIG RAP for Customer Service We were served by Andrew Roberts ( I hope, that is the name on the receipt anyway) but there was also another lovely young man who I talked to at length. What top blokes!

Thank you so much for a wonderful shopping experience, so refreshing to find that level of service in a bike shop!

So you lot down that way, go and see these good folk, you never know you may be tempted by the yummiest potato you have ever seen Heaven help me I could have been so easily swayed to the dark side

Crikey! They rename the area when Mark visits? I'm impressed! He must be some kind of local royalty!

Well the Whanganui added an "H" the least he could do was to re-spell Mahawatu I take no credit for it at all

I was looking for advice on the servicing schedule for the Triumph. Phil was very good, in effect talking me out of spending more money than was necessary My girls (2+3) have also had the pleasure of complimentary muffins.

It was a totally refreshing experience for me. Last time I came close I was only visiting, but I got coffee and the offer of a test ride on the cutest friggen Buell I have ever seen that was at Wellington Motorcycles, and despite the fact that you will hear Pete makes shit coffee, I only choked on the last mouthfull

You guys dont know how lucky you are really.
