I suggest that you ring the pub and warn them that we are stopping in for food.
So they can get a cook in.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

I stopped in and had a drink there couple of weekends ago. They were freindly and welcoming.

Interestingly enough I did ring diamond Harbour and warn them that we were coming and they were not exactly thrilled.

Feel free to give the pub a call on our behalf-I get sick of organising everything....... weddings driving me crazy!!!

    Understand that one.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

It was a while ago, I was talking to Neil over there at Godly, and he was talking about bikes turning up mid-week expecting food etc, but not being prepared, with staff etc, "a call to let them know if a group is to be expected" he said.
Understandable, but difficult as ya never know how many are going to turn up, or what the weather is going to do, which may change destination.

Yeah we've been calling and letting them know we're coming for some time now. Admittedly we didn't in the first season of Weds night rides

It's like I said at the carpark... it's a Ducati it's meant to do that.

I dislike riding Summit Rd in large groups so I'll probably leave early and head through Halswell and go to Gebbies via the Wheatsheaf.

Depending on the weather I might head to Little River and perhaps even Duvauchelles too before heading back to the Wheatsheaf to chat.
Anybody else keen is welcome to come with at the same time.

If the weather is ok i will be bringing my daughter as well. Good to see a few parents getting their kids involved. Maybe its time for dads and mums to start bringing their sons and daughters along. Lets face it the rides are social events and should be family friendly. I went to a trail ride on sunday and was amaised how many family groups there were there. No wonder trail riding is such a big thing now.

Haha, sorry mate. We call it Wet's route cause it was first suggested by a man who's KB name is Wet. Since then it has been affectionately known as Wet's Route.

Kids are fine to come along as long as they're kept on leads at all times ...just kidding

My 12 year old son Riley came last week and loved it! Wont be long and he will be bigger than I, and fighting me for the steering seat I reckon! Its definately great to get kids along as far as I am concerned... or I would barely ever make it.. and that would suck! lol... should see you all tomorrow
    Cheers
