That's close to where I live, I've got a 3 burner, couple of gazebos so we'll have a bit of shade for the oldies ;-) and a trailer to get em there

So what does everyone think? Overnight stay at the Forest Park. If so, I'll start making arrangements and turn this into an event. Also the kinsman poker run is on this date, so could be an option for some to go do that, then finish it off with a bit of a party.

Sorry everyone, I just miss bike rallys, there's just enough of them on the North Island.

i am pretty sure there is some confusion here..i know ecko doenst live near Wuzards.I think you guys are talkin different Parks

Wuzards is talkin Rimutaka Forrest Park on the Coast Road out of Wainui

Mt Wainui and 15+kms to get there folks

little bit further away and means that we all have to venture into "the Swamp", but offer still stands. likewise if it ends up at Quasi's place.

Rimutaka Forest Park is a splendid idea.
Not that I am biased or anything, I mean it's only a couple of kays up the road. That means the missus can drive the car out there with all the gear such as BBQ's and tents.
It's a great spot, has all the facilities and is very reasonably priced if wanting to stay the night.

I'm keen for the Rimutaka forest park! Quasi's place is awesome and the hospitality is better but i've got a better chance of getting the fandamily to attend if it's closer...

There is only one thing left to establish-

Who brings what, and is it still the 28th?

Have a work commitment that has sprang up for the 28th

Might have to have my 40th in some other spot so you lot can crash that instead

Is still the 28th ( we have no probs crashing your 40th StoneY ) will run a quick venue poll closer to the date but looks good for Taka park
