Anyways I know the aim of the new ninja is not for the track but im interested to know some lap times from some people who have ridden there 250 4 stoke "race replicas" around puke and ill try get my sister to let me do a lap or 2 on hers for some sort of comparrison...
I think Jason (VTec on this site) got 1:15 around Pukie on his CBR250RR with decent race tyres on. Not sure if that was transponder timed or not.

Will be interested to hear what ya get.

I'm pretty interested in all this crap people say about zxr250's ninja 250r's and GPX's... I learnt on a 88 GPX and because it was starting to wear out... and i couldn't be stuffed keeping it up and running I found me a score on a 95 ZXR which I paid just under 5 Gs for... I flogged my GPX off for 1600 bucks :P It was nice to ride alot less powerful than my lovely ZXR... I don't have the spare dosh to get my other licences at the moment so bar the lack of an 'L' plate I'm having fun tearing up the roads on my derestricted ZXR... I enjoyed the GPX and I enjoy the ZXR... the ZXR munches thru corners brilliantly and i chewed out a 750 Yamaha on Scenic drive in the Waitakere ranges... well thru the corners anyway... lol My GPX and ZXR both go the speed limit ( and alot more) the '08 Ninja 250R is a new bike hence its no longer called a GPX... My mate had a GT250R and ran it in... then took it to the Coromandle where it promptly died on him...

Anywho GPX, ZXR Ninja 250R... They're all Kwaka's thats good enough for me other bikes...

Lets all be greatful we ain't riding a scooter...

I thoroughly enjoyed this new chapter of the KB Adventures with Skidmark. Some good laughs, brilliant. I'm already looking forward to the next chapter.

I only have one thing to add to to the thread and to ask skidmark. Why and how does a CBR250 handle like a shopping trolley? I have found it is probably even a little better than an NC30, would you dare say one of those handles like a shopping trolley though?
