It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
If HRC can't build a sportsbike to do high kms, then nobody can. I say hit it hard.
He's right. I owned one and still miss it despite my newer bikes.
It's uncomfortable, not good for 2-up, stiff suspension, and can make you slower in bumpy tight roads.
But the best bit comes in trackdays, open sweeping corner on smooth road, vibrating feeling, and the looks.
Buy it if you like it. But don't consider practicality.
Throw your common sense out of the window and you'll be the happiest person on earth.
And as for being a Honda, the bike lasts a long time as long as you have oil, petrol and coolant in it. No cam chain, so that's a big bonus!

But the guy on Torque has one AKA it's fucking awesome.
Juzzer - who was a very active member on here (before he buggered off overseas), had one of the tidiest examples around and gee, did it sound drop dead sexy. If it wasn't for my 'truck driver' back I would of owned one by now. Still one of my all-time favorite bikes.

If the bike was purchased for the intended purpose of commuting / city riding, then yes it wouldn't be very suitable. If my memory serves me well, they are very high geared (similar to the stock NC30) and like to 'hunt' in the lower revs. In a nutshell, they suck for commuting and I'm not only taking about fuel...
But hey if you're into open road riding or track days, then this bike will be your new best friend.

Well if I had a better bike, I would enjoy riding the open road a bit more...If i had a sp1 in the garage then I'd live on the open road.
Mind you there are lots of bikes out there and I am still looking and getting opinions...DMNTD gave me the run down on rsv milles today as well as falcos and there are some nice zx9s out there....too much choice![]()
