Nevis has lots of creek crossings at the southern end but if no snow should be good. The northern most creek crossing can be a bit rocky/lumpy. Danseys Pass is a good gravel road and should be fine if no snow. Haka is suppose to be closed on the weekend of the 17th of October for a car rally. It too is a good gravel road apart from the deep gravel on the northern side of the Haka pass. There is a couple of creek crossings but they are generally not too deep.
The snow will not last more than 2/3 days on the passes, so dont go straight away if snowing but you won't have to last long.

P.S. Jantar is closer to the tracks so will know more about the current conditions.
