    this is waaaay too long for me to read, BUT we can all agree we shouldn't be on the centreline.

    But I have a further concern, pertaining to what in my opinion is a useless learner bike: were you still running the stock plastic tyres, and would anyone present be able to speculate that were you on a bike without totally retarded geometry, that a temporary loss of traction should not have ended with a bike in a ditch?

    Why is this relevant? an upgrade right now would be to anything that isn't renowned for simply falling over at the slightest excuse. Now's a good opportunity to get a "real" bike. This can still be a 250 (and have more power than your GN too ).

    No Ive replaced the tyres. And to be honest I have no idea if a different bike would have acted differently.
