I wonder if the proposed ACC rate increase will impact on vehicles over 40 years old.
A 40 year old bike was $ 75.00 for the year in 2008.

Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!
Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.
The sad thing is that I'm seriously considering it lol

I'm thinking of putting Triumph Badges on all my bikes, and using the "one number plates fits all" theory.
I supposed if you attached the plate to a piece of metal with all the numbers stamped on ....in theory you are on the Triumph...with accessories.
They can't say you were riding an unregistered vehicle.....![]()
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
I hope not. Think the VCC as well as us would gets its collective nickers in a twist.
A fair thing to do for a start is to attach the rego to a riders licence so that your only hit once, as you can only ride one bike at a time!.
For those with multiple bikes this will cripple us.
ACC needs an overhaul, at the very least they need learn basic maths.
They're system based on engine size is pathetic.
They're statistics are questionable.
The system is clearly not fair.
The VCC should get involved or they will end up having club plates like in Aussie and only be able to use them on pre arranged runs.
The VCC is the reason the discount applies to 40 year old vehicles.
Mine are 1958 and 1967.
I have several bikes that will either soon qualify or already qualify for cheap vintage rego, a '72 Guzzi Eldorado,a '72 CB 450 Honda & a '67 G15CS Matchless. In the words of one Montgomery Burns..... 'Eeexxxellant' [rubs hands together]
