Agree the proposed price is extreme...

As for the comment (by one of the people on the telly) that car drivers are already subsidising us $70 each, well so they should!
And I am actually subsidising myself, because if I need to take a load of stuff somewhere I take the ute......
Further, those that don't claim subsidise those that do, so that was a pretty stupid thing to say in my opinion.

I bet though that the car regos will not go down $70 because motorcyclists are paying their full amount.

Maybe because one thing Labour DID do well (and no one noticed till Nats tried) is run Social Agencies on a BUDGET!

This is what happens when the cheeses from private business sector get the ear of the govt, and the public service gets shit all over.

All them portfolio's that took the big hits, (it aint medical bills causing this) got 're-managed' within a month of the change of PM

Hmmm, yes but i wonder if you do have an accident and re not registered you will most likely be covering your own costs to fix yourself as ACC will refuse, could workagainst you doing this.

well i pay acc on my income, fuel etc so how could they refuse

Is this been done to pay for all the idiot drivers who do u-turns, open their doors or just do dum stupid things in front of motorbikes causing us to crash!!!! The only times we have had accidents is because of idiots in cars. We have 5 motorbikes between the 2 of us so bang goes my holiday every year cos the money will be going on bike rego's instead.
