The off topic stuff in the tag thread

Personally - I LIKE IT, it fills the gap on the quiet days and keeps a lot of stuff in perspective, it helps keep the group of players interacting with one another, and helps us keep tabs on where people are at, and what they are up to - it all adds to the Game.

I Know EVERYONE is gonna disagree - but thats my oppinion, and so far I havent had that bled from me .....

that def has merit mate.Surely some of that can be here though rather than pages two pages of off topic for one tag.

Yeah, I agree that too much chit chat can get a little cluttered, but I just find that things get disjointed jumping back n forth between the threads and am always keen to see what the regulars are up to at any given time.

I agree with Scout on this one. Yes, it's sometimes frustrating having to look back through pages to find the current tag, but I find it more frustrating having to monitor two threads and still having to troll through pages to find out what the gist of the convo has been. Just my opinion..

Some don't help themselves - I have been waiting over two weeks for a reply from TSS from an email request for a quote on rear tyre and I sent a follow up with read-receipt - read but no response. Tomorrow the bike goes to Richardson's in Jville for the tyre - if the service is okay it will be bye bye TSS. Might be able to look for a tag after that.

Mate, Richards in Jville is great...but slow! I have gone there for all my bikes and have never had any dramas. If you need significant work done he will do it and it will be top notch but it will take a while...good things take time!
Just today, I parked myself in his shop and tinkered on the duke! ..he even gave me gloves to keep my hands clean! Nice guy...

I also CONCUR with Scout on this. The banter evolves from the tag and i dont have the patience to dredge up the discussion thread and make the relevant post. Then disturb the tag thread with a post to say go look at the discussion thread. I like the way we all get together to talk a heap of BS around the tags. It keeps it alive during the quiet times. As Scout says- it keeps us interacting and together.

The banter is going to be somewhere regardless. Taking up space in one place or another.

How about a separate place just to upload the tag pics to, for easy reference? That of course requires upkeep also.

I'm with them don't mind a bit of banter around the tags, and the seriously off topic stuff over here.
