How much rego can I buy before increases?

There's five months' rego on my bike. Can I buy a shitload before the increases so as to delay the pain? Maybe about ten years...

You can up it to one year from the date you go in to do it.(TOP UP).
I did it today just in case they passed something overnight.I added 5 more months onto the 7months I had left.

Cheers for that. Will do. By the time it expires we'll have overthrown the Government and be living in a utopia befitting this beautiful country.

Until act comes on board and ups it more then they rush it through and although the changes MAY be July they will be affective July onwards straight away and adding more will be one rate pre July and another for the remainder. This I guarentee you.

Mine expires before July, so I guess I will be able to buy a year at the current rate.

I would be surpised if there aren't any amendments to this prior top the actual date.

damn, so itd be some3 months worth wasted. might do it for 6 months in jan, and then a year right before the charges go up. [assuming by then, we will know what the dates of changes will be]

You would be better served by budgetting your income over the next ? months, to work out how much you need to set aside to pay the next rego applicable.
