    Riding into town this morning and lying across the other lane was a back board off a trailer... bolts were further up the road!

    Then in town, in the middle of the roundabout was a bundle of glossy magazines!! I managed to avoid them with the front tyre but the bike did a nice dance as the rear went over them...

    I've seen a plastic bag covering the front of a radiator before too.

    Good work Str8 Jacket staying on... did you talk to the fulla about his following distance? I guess it was good that he stopped but that's mighty close for comfort!

    Yes, I thanked him very much for being alert and stopping without running me over. We were doing a bit over the speed limit and I stopped dead so I was very lucky. My life did kind of 'flash before my eyes' for a moment though!
