we should be thankful as it must be a bit more dangerous there: 80% vs our 60% of collisions where its the car drivers fault

    Classic good find!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

it's what our stats show and pretty much what most other private databases indicate as well - at 80% we'd be a pretty blameless bunch wouldn't we ?

Our statistics do not even show 60%. It is more like 40% of motorcycle accidents are car drivers fault.

our stats are based on all collision claims since 2002 so I am pretty confident the 60% figure is sound

you are excluding any single vehicle accident aren't you ?

Oh, i see, you talking about multiple vehicle collisions. Yep, 60% percent of those can be blamed on car drivers.

    So 60% are motorbikers fault?

I find that hard to believe. And I get the "pleasure" of going to a few....... "I didn't see him/her" is such a catchcry from the car/truck/van/ute/taxi/bus driver......

great find. has a good dose of creepy-weird that'll fit right in with our scary-carnie-man-spinning-the-wheels-of-death-at-intersections ad.
