was fine, don't recall the total cost but it wasn't much between $150 - $300 NZ. Course by air is better if you're in a hurry.
    +1 for these guys
Having a set of wheels shipped for $50!
Give Matt an email he will sort you out Matt@KiwiShipping.co.nz
They were shipped on 15th due in on the 31st.

I've heard good things about Kiwi Shipping for sure. Just make sure with any forwarder you use, that you get full pricing on the import side of thngs too.

I can have my San Francisco office collect or your supplier can deliver it to their warehouse, whatever suits.

If you sea freight it, you'll be looking at a couple of days to the CFS, with probably one week cut off to allow packing and container delivery to the wharf, then aout 14 days from Long Beach, another 2 for offload, two for the CFS to unpack. Assuming there's no MAF holds or problems, about 21-30 days total depending on service.

Not joking. they import clasic cars mainly and were happy to chuck my wheels in the boot of one of them. They have containers leaving for Auckland and Tauranger every few weeks.
I had to pay overland delivery to there depot $60 US and Kiwi Shipping are charging $50 US to ship them here.
Made sure the value was under $400 NZ to avoid GST ;-) by creating a invoice via the interweb. Will prob be charged MAF cleaning about $30 NZ then there all mine.

As I said, email Matt and he will give you low down on how to do it. Cheap!

peanuts? On top of the NZ$100-$300 shipping, mysteriously there has appeared a US$300 charge.

This is what always happens when you try to do things on the cheap.

Why not cancell it and simply have the issue fixed locally?

Yeah thats it. Basically they have this week to sort their shit out before I organise alternate freight or request a refund with paypal, and then post all the gory details on the internet of the failed transaction. It won't be a pretty sight.
