Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
def pretty cool to be a bike cop!! i reckon the cop was just enjoying the ride!!!!!![]()
All I saw was two riders riding like pricks. The fact that one of them happens to be a cop makes it worse, seeing as he endangered other road users with his irresponsible riding.![]()
Ride fast or be last.
Mufti cop bike right. The guy probably thought he was havin a go with another rider! Simple as that! So he nailed it! Well not quite nailed it the Ghost Rider vids have much more dangerous stuff on them. If he was on a thou or something, its silly but not hard to do 140mph on a motorway or 100mph though town on a 300k bike.
I bet There's plenty on here that have done similar. Com on fess up! LOL!!
I'm not excusing his riding at all but a few years ago the could easily have been me taking another bike on. I'm old now so I think its crazy in the close proximity of other cars! I don't condone it at all!
I must say that the cop did let him hang himself. Almost encouraging it coming right up behind him but not flashing his lights etc. He mentioned the guy was keeping an eye on him. So he was defiantly hooning to keep in front of the unmarked cop bike I'd say.
I'm not blaming the cop, but not sure that mufti bikes wouldn't cause more danger than they prevent if they had no lights or sirens like that one appeared to not have?? If it did, the cop should have used them to reduce on going risk to other road users!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Not sure if being a british bike cop appeals to me... The weather, ugh. Police maintenace dictates that tyres are only changed when they are down to the minimum legal requirement, i.e. F All. Not nice on wet, oily roads. They also have cops on DR's chasing trail riders to make sure they are road legal, insured etc. We met a couple, years ago in the Borders & their tyres were bald, 1.3mm minimum tread. No fun in the mud, well, it was for us but they looked knackered.
