Thanks Pedrostt500, what bike will you be lending out and what bike has the spare pillion?

    Pillion seat on GTR1000

I have a spare seat on my GTR1k for a slimmer passenger (my ass is big just like my head so space is limited in front of top box). Coming in from Kapiti so can pick up somewhere on SH1 between Waikanae and Papakowhai.

And there could be one on a GTR1.4k from Palmy. Got my leave approved today. Think I have loaned my Honda out...

The Pillion will be on the DR 650, I may have a Honda XL 500 S but it needs re-VIN and WOF & REG, so at the moment only the Pillion on The DR 650. I will advise on the second bike if it is available, though would require a Full licence and Exsperience with large Trail / Adventure Bikes.

Thought I wan't going to be able to make it due to commitments on other days - but I've just booked flights to arrive @ WGTN airport @ 10:30 (got to be back there for a 4:30 back to AKL)

Just wondering if there's still anyone with bike/pillion space and where I'd have to get to. (I'm a full license holder obviously & I could taxi to a location)

If not where's the best place to join the protest on foot?

Hope you can find a bike and/or seat!

If not, go straight to parliament and meet everyone there. Would be great to have some early birds to help with set-up - Ms Piggy will be taking photos as the group arrives, you could distribute Action Packs!

Hey DogsnBikes - sorry to hear 'bout the medical stand down

That could be a goer as long as timing allows - about 30 mins or so to the city from the airport by cab - whats the arrangement getting access etc? Do you know how long to get to one of the two meeting points? Should be doable I think by 11:30?

Would really appreciate the opportunity to ride in if I can fit it all in - would be an honour to take one of your machines out there (750 preference - but I'm not too choosy). The terminal is pretty close to the beehive as I remember which should mean it's pretty straightforward getting it back there - as long as there is somewhere to leave it etc. I expect to be leaving the city centre not too much later than 2:30-3:00ish to make sure I make the plane home.

(I'm assuming they'll let me take my lid as carry on... never tried to fit one in a luggage locker )

That MAY change in the next 3 weeks, but is it possible to put my name on the bike needed list and remove it if I do end up with my own vehicle before the 17th? Fully licenced rider, have taken pillions before too.
    Cheers,
    Hanne
If we cant find you anything better than the mighty volty you are most welcome to share my Triumph as long as you don't mind having me on the back for half the journey, it will make it an easier trip imo.

you shouldnt have a problem, depending on the plane. ive taken a small plane from wanganui to auckland with my helmet. there werent any overhead lockers, so the bag went down by my feet. no worries at all.
