    Living in town

    well i use to live in whitby hated the train no car licence so wanted to move into town, in the process i got a bike, moved to tory street so i had almost an excuse to ride to work (near train station) now i moved again on the terrace 10min walk to work doesnt it SUCK!! i cant ride my bike to work, now only can ride on my days off wich i never get anyway bloody sucks. nothing like blasting my hyo after a 15 hour shift in hells kitchen

    my 250 doesn't satisfy me anymore, shes just not doing it

    prob wouldnt be that great....why do i have to wait 1 year for the bullshait test leme do it now i want a R1
    my 250 doesn't satisfy me anymore, shes just not doing it

    especially seeing as it wasn't long ago you were posting how you were worried about riding to palmy gaining confidence is cool but sheesh

    Theres your problem, you moved outta whitby! Shoulda stayed, the 30mins a day commute is good fun

    Even on a little GN, i still did it everyday for uni

    Join the club dude (although I do get to ride 15 minutes to work a day). Will just make you appreciate the rides you do get that much more.

    i'm also a terrace dweller and i know what you mean about walking to work. sometimes i ride the 3 minutes anyway. riding through town sucks!! traffic lights everywhere and i never get out of 2nd gear. i have to make up excuses to head out to the hutt and get past 30kms. doesn't help either when you get stuck behind a grandma going round the bays at 20kms. i have to pull up and wait 10 minutes so i can practice my countersteering at a reasonable pace. the good news is my slow speed riding is great.

    yeah it wasnt that bad ha time for a upgrade bring on 1 years waiting

    Because an R1 sitting in a garage never getting ridden is a lot cooler than having a 250 sitting there doing the same.

    yip, i oriental a bit but i continue round airport and back past evans bay, owhiro bay etc and back over brooklyn.
