Right'O I'll be there! Gonna be on my sons little 250 with L plates LOL!! I calculated a 250 takes just as much room up on a protest ride as my old thou would, so what the hell LOL!!
Anyway reason for my post is I got notice Via some other riders by email about this. The word seems to be getting out. There is 2-5 of them coming that are not members here so you might find there is a few more turn up than the 60 registered! Hopefully anyway!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Ok... hopefully this works in google maps...
EDIT: emdbedded map doesn't work - go to the link below...

I've handed out a few of the Leaflets so hopefully I've added a few more riders for Saturday.
I think you will find Maha has a riding buddy for you to ride with mate. You will be absolutely fine, probably the hardest bit will be the start point and anywhere the ride slows right down, trick to managing these times is to use your clutch. Find me on the day and I will explain more what I mean.
Ride only within your limits is the key point (though nobody will be going very fast). There's a great guide to group riding somewhere around here on KB.
Might be an idea if you do want to head off on your own to let one of us at the back of the pack (TECs) know so we don't think u r in trouble (breakdown etc) (at least wave us on)
Hey Maha & Mom...Ive posted off a soft toy to you guys, hope it gets there in time
It is entirely possible to teach an old blond new tricks!!!
Been some good ideas put forward today, awesome to see some positive and lateral thinking going on. Like one post mentioned, there are those that are not KBers who know about this event (it is in this months issue of the BRONZ news letter) and although the registered number sits in the mid 60's, the feeling is that number could multiply easily to god knows how many. What ever the number will be, its going to be a fantastic day for any who take part. The organisers and the ride controllers are a great bunch of people and we will endeavour to make this day very successful.
