My sister saw the rolling protest ride near Papakura, and was MOST impressed.
    Well done everyone!

(Except me, I didn't go . And maybe that guy that crashed...)
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

Cheers - but I haven't done anything thankworthy.

I'm pleased BRONZ has proved a viable rallying point for a lot of motorcyclists.
I hark back to the debates with Lou G all those years ago and while not all agree with the policies decided, even within BRONZ, the meetings have been impeccably run and admirably democratic. All anybody could ask.

People I would acknowledge for where it is now:
Finn Neilsen. President of BRONZ National. It probably exists currently because of him. We all owe the man a beer.
Forbes & Davies - wholesalers - Where he works. Shot! F&D.
Peggy - BRONZ Treasurer. A Treasure. Thank you Peggy.
Ixion - who I was going to say I shoved forward when nobody wanted the job - but the truth is I hid behind him. Shot! Ix.
BRONZ Committee - Rest of the people who turned up for the meetings. Respec.
Pete McPhee - Publisher Kiwi Rider - Gives BRONZ a page in KR every month. Donates it.
The respected Journo who ghost writes the column also donates her time.
Otago members - kept it financial.
    Klingon - for top form.

    Bastards => Good.

I could watch that over and over, everyone together and it seemed endless.

Anne got a phone call from her daughter who was in a car (not driving) and she asked ''what are all the fuckin' bikes on the Motorway doing''? she said it looked massive.

I loved the complete stranger that approached us when we got back to Warkworth, I guess the gear gave us away She wanted to know how she could find out about these rides! She saw the bikes on the motorway and said it looked fantastic!

Far out that is funny! Well it was cool to get those bears for the kids. I had to somehow let people know where they should come! Thanks for sharing that.

Hate to say it but there is no way I would get pinged on a bike I have never rode before on a strange road going 70km lol oh occasionally a bit quicker...

    I would...

Riding locally around Franklin... 90km and behind my partner was a cop... he kept trying to hide me... but then we turned right, and the cop just past me... ignored the fact I was over 70km... but happy I was under 100km. hehe

ahh, yeah I'd pinged for that, I did the ride with my "L" on, was a little worried every time I got close to the bike that was keeping us company I hoped he would turn a blind eye

Max, did you hear your song being played on national TV? For the first time ever, I see the point of having a sound system on a goldwing!
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
