The most insane riding i've ever seen, period. Total nutters!

Not totally sure if this has been linked before but I really don't think there is anything like this one.

Ducati 999 and a GSXR pushing to the extremes on the road. Huge lean angles, drifting, stunts, high speed, going over the center line on blind corners, lane splitting in corners with oncoming traffic...

Are these guys still alive? There is a time and a place for that type of riding and it sure isn't where they were. Makes for great watching! Does anyone know anything behind this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBneH...eature=related Also some insane Japanese riders (mind the music lol!) pulling some crazy lean angles with a comforting concrete wall right next to them... madness. One guy almost loses it at 50 seconds highsiding into the wall.

    Worth the watch.

Yeah I know. Just watched it again, it's beggars belief he didn't highside his bike with some of the slides he's powering out from those bends.

Just found out the bikes are GSXR1000 and Ducati 749, riders are actually professional Greek SBK racers would you believe it. Papastavrou shops are race sponsors and sell motorcycle gear and accessories and kebabs are what they had for lunch after their ride...

The guy with the camera (first vid) seems to come into a couple of corners with the clutch disengaged....yes? Not for me, that...

I'm pretty sure they were filming for a new ACC Summer Motorcycle TV advert .......

With snippets of that video running and the catch phrase:

"Watch out for bikes this Summer - they are fucking nutters"

Amazing bike control. Amazing lack of decision making ability. Also, the video is flagged as 18+ so you need to log to view it. That doesn't seem to be a constraint when you embed videos so I've embedded it below for anyone else who doesn't have a google account and can't be bothered making one. :-)

Overtaking with an oncoming truck puckered me up tightly.
Was in Switzerland a while back & saw similar antics as I was passed by a few local sprotbike riders. Fully committed, knee down & backing in big time. I was fairly kakkin myself, wobbling along with full panniers & a bossy satnav wondering what would come round the next corner at me.

The dude with the camera made an absolute mess of his lines round some of those right hand corners. He was very lucky in a few cases not to end up in the dirt.

After watching that whole thing, I realized that neither of those two dudes are actually very good. Sure, they can ride hard and know how to lean but neither of them are actually that good. Horrible lines around corners in places (especially the camera bike) and there was nothing smooth about any of that, plus the obvious total disregard for the other road users and overtaking round blind corners.

Let's hope Nick Smith doesn't see that aye....

    That was my impression too....
    Both Muppets.

Yup, camera bike almost ended up in the bank a couple of times, and the bike even wanted to spit him off at one point...

The whole backing it in thing he was doing.... All for show, and useless at it.

Okay, my last name isn't Slight, BUT I can spot somebody who can ride... These guys couldn't.

I don't believe they are SBK riders either. Those guys get paid far too well to play in dangerous places like that!
