Wow, what a stunning and fitting protest. Well done bikers!!

And big ups to the organisers - esp Brent, Ulysees, BRONZ and WIMA to name but a few . Thanks to all those who volunteered to be marshalls and to the emergency services who made the ride into Welly safe and hassle-free. And thanks to those riders who made their way to Wellington from all over NZ for this event - you cant beat Welly on a good day, eh!?

And so it starts... I'm angry and I aint a trout!

    Just got home.

What an amazing day! That's the sort of thing you tell your grandkids about.

And the Bikoi said unto Nick........ BULLSHIT!

Brilliant day - brilliant turn out - Kudos to all involved. Like many others I espied, I took a few snaps just going through them now but thought you might like this one in the meantime..

Just watched on the 4:30 One NEWS that there is some progress made from today's protest....... a backdown? A compromise? More to come at 6pm, but it sounds like we have made ourselves heard!! Well done everyone!

Not sure where else to post this so i'll do it here. To all the guys going south between Taupo & Bulls yesterday. I was travelling north. Excellent form, i didnt see one bit of dickhead riding at all & was well impressed with you guys.
the groups of bikes coming the other way were cool too, it made my otherwise boring trip interesting.
Thankyou to all of you for being the voice of many of us that wanted to attend, but couldnt.
P.S, will Harleys actually run by themselves, or do they only work if theyre in pairs?

Ditto to this, you guys did an AWESOME job! Wish I'd been able to get more involved. I'd love to know the turnout!

When i arrived at Parliament they were just saying something about an official petition - I signed that slightly dodgy one online. Is there another official petition somewhere I can sign or was that it?

Time to celebrate like these guys:
