See you all shortly.
Not for me it won't, the papers I work for cover from Pukerua Bay to Tokomaru so a shot of somewhere in Wellington (apart from one at Parliament that the other half is going to get for me) would be rather bizarre!
Forest Lakes may be a goer, but think at this time of the morning the angle of the sun may not work - you''d lost the bikes in the glare. I thought the bridge at Ohau - me on the southern side of it with the bikes curving over the bridge and on the straight.
I did think of a cherry picker but only place that has them is right in the middle of Levin and thought the photo would be crap from their yard, and doubt they'd transport one to where I wanted for free!
I may even head down and try a few locations - could get the first group at one place and the rest at another if that didn't work.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
Well done everyone, particularly our fantastic organisers!

Currently uploading video (could be a while). Even got a Chanceyy speach on tape...

you can delete that .. no one likes hearing my speeches .. but it had to be done
I want to take this opportunity to thank the other organisers Dave Reid, Peter Franklin, Gingin and Bogan who handled Palmy area by himself .. there is no I in team and awesome work guys
we need to also thank Fatboyz for allowing us to meet there, then obviously new world who car park we took over as well for a while .. and the Police in assisting us with getting us out on the road & on our way
lastly thanks to all the riders who turned up, took notice of the ride brief & apart from some outsiders who blasted past the pack, our group behaved extremely well from what I seen ..
thank you to you all, you made the day what it was, and the weather god looked down on us
