Personally I think instead of raging against whoever done it, we just do what needs to be done to fix it.

The repair should be as already mentioned, a bag or two of coldmix, Its great stuff.

If the person who done it comes forward then all well and good, Otherwise we do a whip around. I'm broke as but I can rustle up a $20, It aint much but.....

It wont be as they will have a specification to stick to, Meaning they will have a nominated contractor working within council guidelines who are the only ones allowed to maintain the asphalt.

It may well be they do use coldmix to repair the damage (in fact I'd bet money on it) but its their call and they will have to be the ones to do the work....

...And charge accordingly.
