    Exclamation New ACC protest t-shirt

I'm a low brow artist and will be designing a new protest t-shirt to voice my disgust over plans to hike up the rego fees for bikes. Will be working on the design this evening with an aim to complete over the next couple of days. A good friend of mine is a screen printer so will have him print up the t-shirts which will be high quality prints on heavy grade fabric. Time the bastards at the top started listening. Watch this space!

Not a good idea. We need only one symbol that is easily recognizable by the general public as the sign of our protest. Having multiple designs will make each less recognizable.

I agree as well, and might I add that the current shirts (wearing mine now as im off to the pub) are awesome and convey the message we want to get across, a lot of time went into these shirts and as such they are a great symbol for our cause!

How about you wait until you see the design before you shoot it down huh? It just may compliment the existing one nicely. If it doesn't, you have my blessing to open fire at that time.

    On the flip side.....

A Motorbike is a Motorbike, each make is different form next, but they are still Motorbikes right? If I were to buy a Yamaha T-Shirt, I wouldn't buy that very same shirt again, whats the point?

Now, Personally, I think we should have a look at what this guy has to offer.
I think the first print of shirts were/are great and I will buy one.
I have my own shirt made up and printed, and I wear that. I will wear any protest shirt if it speaks volumes.

What we want is as many bikers as possible wearing the same logo over their leathers. A powerful symbol to the general public if they start seeing all bikers wearing a recognizable symbol of our protest. If we start using different designs, then it will become far less noticeable.

Errr I dunno about you lot - but I got asked if I was in the army. Said person did not even notice it was about motorbikes.
But I still like my shirt - its choice

Many wont have time to read it or even understand it. But if it gets seen in the media enough, they wont need to.

pretty much all i saw in welly was our tshirts... it was amazing to see so many in one place, at one time. i wore my kb shirt, but also printed my own on a smaller size so i could leave the jacket with the bike and still have the message seen. used the same graphic as the kb shirt too. gets worn at work, in town... you name it.

When I proudly pointed out my shirt to my sister, she said "oh I thought it was a band shirt!"
