I've heard of it being done.

Have also heard of dudes with big touring bikes cruising along eating hamburgers while riding.

    Pretty awesome.

$1000 helmet but no gloves. Nice.

Oh, that can certainly be done. Nothing illegal in that though. A man must eat, after all. Only rpoblem is if you have to make a sudden gear change it can get a bit messy and you risk losing the remains of your burger.

Given they've got all the matching BMW bike and gear you could also stereotype that they consider themselves a safe and steady rider/pipes and slippers type.

Why would someone who's shelled out all that money on BMW branded gear then ride with no gloves and in jandals. It doesn't add up to me.

Dont belive the pic for a min. All the branded BMW gear & jandals!

A spoof pic posed for effect. Is it paranoia or a subtle visual from the pro levy brigade?

That piece of "Southern Motorway" looks like a very Clean piece of asphalt.
That grass verge on the "Southern Motorway" also well manicured.

Almost like you'd expect a 'closed circuit' to look!

Herald should be taken to task if they print hoax's.

    Racey.

Looks like a track to me. The surface is too smooth, nicely manicured grass and an armco barrier in the background. No centre line ???

It's definitely taken from inside another vehicle, you can see the reflection from the window on the right of the picture.

    Doesn't rule out track though

Someone with betters eyes than me, have a look in his gas tank. See what the reflection is of.

EDIT: Screw all that, looking at the picture that has more in, that lane is way to wide. He's sitting right at the left of it and there's still no lane markings. I call track

perhaps a motorway onramp? Now if only this were CSI we could zoom in on the rear view mirror and see a reflection of the Hamptondowns buildings - flag that, without gloves?

It's fairly easy to see the edge of the lane on the other side of the armco, no way is it a track.
