To Car Enthusiasts in Christchurch

There will be a Ferrari California and an F430 along with several other Italian exotics and classic Ferraris will be displayed at Euromarque for two days only, from tomorrow Friday to Saturday. The display is to celebrate the new setup of Euromarque and to introduce the California to New Zealand.

Pop in and have a look. Unfortunately the California is not the "Rosso Corsa" red but Azzurro Monaco (i.e. Light Blue). However it still looks beautiful.

Iv got two projects on the go at the moment:

83 ST140 Corona coupe. Building coilovers next week and locking diff asap. Wheels are 14x10's



Second is 85 AW11 MR2. Iv got a 3SGTE (2ltr turbo from later model MR2 & Celica) to put in after the corona is all certified and road legal.

Yeah it's quiet, comfortable, fast and reasonably discreet.

It's a manual with a fly by wire throttle and a hydraulic clutch that gives zero feel through the pedal... which makes it a bit finicky to get off the line. You can stall it, bog it, limp it off the line, get it off the line quickly, REEEEALLY launch it or burn the clutch... experience makes things easier but it's not a city car.
