Bart - what do you think of delaying till Sunday?
OK, if that works for you guys, I'm easy.

I'm just looking at the big gap in my shed where a yellow bike used to be. Yipeeeee, I've got my workshop back.

That's great news Bart, and because you can afford to shout at Pongaroa pub I better join the MAD ride
I dusted off the Transalp & after 3 months retirement she fired up immediately. That seat is so wide & comfy

Just in time, eh Bart. I was becoming concerned at the thought of a forken Dr. Franken-rider. Don't need you any faster than you already are.

So Andy, was Pampera correct about that WR seat extraction???

Cheers. I was just about to strip the DRZ down and sell it as an off road model (with the road kit). Coming up to Christmas, I thought I'd have my little workshop cluttered for a couple of months yet. Suddenly had 3 people interested in the last week. Funny how things work out. I can now buy some farkles for the 650 (and perhaps a new helmet....and boots....and....).

The weather is nasty here this morning - strong gusty winds and cold with pissing rain

Pahiatua is only 75min or so from home so I'm easy re start time. I'll aim to get there around 9.30 so I can have a leisurely latte (I might stop in Shannon as well - its a long trip....)

Are we meeting at that coffee shop at the north end of town on the west side of the road?

We'll have to discuss what we are going to do about cnut too

Overcast here. Road is dry. The wind got up a bit overnight. I thought it would take the roof off at one stage.

I think we made the right choice, as it's still pretty blustery out, and I think it will rain here later. Lets hope it blows through by tomorrow .

Weather is fine and calm out Pongaroa way. They haven't had any rain at all (yet). Makairo should be dry.
