Good company too, no stupidity and just good clean fun. Hopefully I'll be able to make a habit of returning to the SATNR in the very near future.
Happy to lead you through Gwinch (red beemer).
Yeah, good fun; quick cornering but no need to hit warp speeds on the straights.

Happy to provide a map for ya; the last bit around the small lake is the back of Te Kawhata.

Great ride night all up; nobody lost really (Old Guy said he got lost briefly but knew where to find us) ands nobody binned it. Pretty good for a 24 bike ride.

Crazy Steve; glad you made it, would have been a damn shame for you to have missed it. Look forward to more fun rides with ya in the future.

Last nights ride for those who don't know the area:

Start at Drury, turn into Waihoehoe rd, turn right onto Drury hills rd, follow to the end then left into Fitzgerald RD. Fitzgerald Rd changes to Quarry Rd and then changes to Ramarama Rd but it's all the same road.
Turn left at Ararimu Rd and follow for a while. AFTER Hiwinui RD on the left go a further 1km approx and take the next left into Ararimu Rd (yes, if you go straight you'll be on Dunns Rd, you need to be on Ararimu.

Follow Ararimu rd until you hit the end and turn right onto Paparimu Rd. Follow Paparimu. After the really long straights, turn left at the intersection into Paparimu rd. If you accidentally turned right you'd be on Paparata Rd.

Follow Paparimu Rd to the end, Hotl De Vin is to the left but you'll turn right onto Lyons RD. Follow Lyons to old SH2 and turn left. Follow for many km's until the dual lane going leftish up a hill. Just as you get on the dual lane you'll need to turn right onto Kopuku Rd then right into Coalfields rd at the intersection.
Follow Coalfields Rd past the quarry and through the swamps, the road name will change to Falls Rd.
Follow Falls Rd until you hit the highway intersection (Waerenga Rd), turn right onto Waerenga and then after a km or so turn left into Waikare Rd (Scenic Route). Follow this road and you'll hit the lake. Follow the shoreline until the end of the road and turn right onto Waiterimu Rd then immediately right again onto Tahuna rd.

Follow Tahuna Rd and you'll eventually hit SH1.

If you use google maps you'll be able to plot this ride from these instructions.

Not Bad III, but just so as not to confuse the punters, Where Ararimu road veers left at the Y, this turneth into Gellings Road, Follow this to the end and turn right into Hunua Road, which then becomes Paparimu road... unless of course you want to take III's suggested route by veering Right at the Y on Ararimu Road you will then stay on Ararimu road... all in all same same but different.... confused..... GOOOD....

To all the new faces just turn up more often, we will enlighten you to all the least travelled roads of the boon docks of the South...

Thanks JAFAR for organising an excellent evening of riding and entertainment...

Not bad for a guy who wasn't even coming on the ride, just came down to say hi, got court up in the moment and got dragged along with the flow.

    Thursday nights Ride.

Hello All, thanks for the great blat, I was completely lost, but having a hell of a time. Excellent fun roads out South East. The old viffer wasn't running so well, so I finally worked up the nerve to take the Carbies off and clean them, found two of the main jets were unscrewed and fallen off, they were sitting in the bottom of the float chamber (LOL). Someone had been there before me and not done them up. Trying to convince the wife to let me come next week.
PS: I think the girlie was a tad cold. OH YEAH. (.) (.)

See I told you that balancing carbs was a bitch, especially with four to do & even worse if some muppet has been there before you

True. I adjusted the butterflies to all be closed, on each carb after fixing the jets in. Seems to be going fine. No stutter and idling well.
    Cheers.
