That's terrible. My heart goes out to them.

Quads scare the shit out of me. Rode a race quad for the first time the other week. It felt damn weird and totally foreign.

Just heard it on the radio, feeling choked up over it. Horrendous nightmare for the family, I don't understand how folks manage to cope with this sort of thing. From now on, waking up every morning with awareness it's real - over and over again.

it just goes to show that accidents can happen to anyone at anytime, it doesnt matter if your world number 1 or just a beginner, we all take the risk everytime we ride. we do it because we love it, its sad that this time it was a wee one, my mate cant believe it, he was talking to her father earlier today before the accident.
SHE LOOKED UP AT ME WITH BLOOD IN HER EYES
    THEN HER SKIN FELL OFF

So terribly sad. I have 2 young kids myself, 6 & 4yrs who both ride. Did both ride quads now oldest rides 2 wheeler & a quad.
Cannot even begin to imagine what her family would be going through.

maybe they will fence off a section specially for youngsters with no steep slopes. if its for all ages, the younger and less experienced should have their own section.

There is a part for kids/learners. Has a bit of a slope off the side of the tracke in one part but i wouldn't class it as a steep slope. In saying that, those quads do roll quite easily, have seen it many times myself.

End of the day accidents do happen regardless. The poor father who took the girls there is probably feeling like utter shit at the moment & blaming himself

so sad to hear this news, thoughts go out to the family, friends and the owners of the bike park,

Am totally gutted to read this, as i too have a little girl i can almost imagine how they feel, though i doubt it, how can you until its you in the picture. Poor family, worst possible outcome from best intentions. My girl really wants to ride a little quad, now i dont think so. My deepest condolances to the family.
