For a bunch that wants to be recognised as individual riders in their (our) own right and not lumped in with stereotypical prejudices held by non-motorcyclists (ala "you're all temporary kiwis" "maniac organ donor bikies" blah blah) you're a judgemental little bunch of fuckwits aint ya?

I've seen them at a local dealers. There is a bladed fan in the muffler body that the gasses force to rotate the main 'gun' body. The example I heard was not doing much muffling!

    I prefer them in black.

A large %age of people who served in the military are simply low ranking cannon fodder. They are no tougher than you average farmer - although generally not as bright.

Of course 99.9% of them like to be portrayed of as bad ass deltaforcegreenberetnavysealninja types.

Then there is Sarge - he just kicks ass.

Blah blah blah. Another day, another HD piss take. What makes you so superior?

I know the exhaust you're on about and it's not something I'd want on my bike but I hope I'm not so f'kin' stuck up as to look down my nose at somebody who did.

Grow up and get the f'k over yourself.

OK, but does that compensate for his lack of wit or superiority complex?

You can learn a lot on this site...

I never realised Harley riders were so touchy.

Nice double intake headers on those ducati models. The twin cheek exhausts are pretty trim too!

What makes you think I ride a Harley? Some days I do as it happens and on other days I ride my other bikes. Then again, I'm genuinely into bikes for what they are, not what I think my sensitive peer group might condone.

Anyway, I'm not touchy. I've just no time for snobs and am bored of people with no imagination or wit.

At the "White Ribbon Ride", (You know the one where we all stood up against family violence. Where the ones in leathers admitted that we can cry and we are not all perfect, where we stood in front of children and females and told them we love them. I am sure you did ride in that one too...) I rode with a Patriot who had them on his HD. When asked what they were for, he told us that his kids loved them. THAT was reason enough for me.

Tassles, tailgunners, fluro vests, carbonfibre exhaust, rainbow leathers, goldwings and trailers, who gives a shit. We do what we do because we love it. Learn to accept that we are all different and you will get much more respect.

May the bridges I burn light the way.
