No head up my ass.
The OP thinks that may have been the case - but my argument still stands - would you do something deliberatley dangerous and knowingly risk injury or death to another person simply because they are riding a bike?
Do you think that many people would?
Honestly - I think you are delusional.
Scotty.......some advice when riding.....................LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR ANGER. So said 'dickhead loses it' and slam dunks you from the rear. Nothing that happens on the road is worth putting yourself at risk for. IT'S MORE FUCKING IMPORTANT THAT GETTING ALL LEATHERED UP FOR PROTECTION.
Lesson over.
Skyryder
Free Scott Watson.
Of course not - and nor would 99.99% of right minded thinking people - which is exactly what I (and DB) were saying.
Im sure that there is a person out there like that - as crazy as Graeme Burton. The difference is I can live knowing that there will be the very odd nut that if things are going bad may do something stupid.
You on the other hand seem to think that the country is full of people like that.
This country is literally riddled with people who like to use their vehicles to intimidate others.
That act of intimidation may not start out with the intention of causing death or bodily harm but all it takes is for one small miscalculation and the outcome can be precisely that.
Motorcyclists need to fully understand that we are among the most vulnerable of road users and I for one don't appreciated chest-beaters on motorcycles turning our roads into an even more hazardous environment.
We need to work towards improving our relationship with all other road users instead of perpetuating this 'us versus them' bullshit.
Never mind the fact that if someone is fucked enough in the head they will do shit like that without provocation. Fuck improving "us vs. them bullshit", if someone cuts me off I'll punch their mirror off. I mean, if I was cut off, certain people...*cough* would find it my fault anyway...
To state the obvious: we KNOW who will come off second best in any altercation involving car smacking into motorbike (or, dare I say it, motorbike smacking into car).
It is about how we avoid it, and our ability to keep level headed when faced with an intimidating situation when it becomes unavoidable.
We all know how easily the red cloud can descend and we want our justice or revenge; but how much more satisfying to be able to give way, ride around them then leave them behind as they are stuck in the cue and we can split away to our hearts content.
I personally have no problem with flipping the bird, and have done it a few times to drivers who have actually steadfastly fixed their eyes straight ahead as if turning to look at me might turn them into stone. (Maybe it's the fake snakes sticking out from under my helmet which frightens them). Deliberate damage, no matter how satisfying in the short term, is another matter.
Come on people, anyone who posts on KB *MUST* be fucked in the head![]()
