Maori were put back to dependent babyhood once their village/tribal system was essentially disbanded by Europeans. Now they are starting to grow up again...but they've only reached the 'terrible twos'...

Never had it. Sorry to repeat myself but The Treaty of Waitangi promises maori equity, not equality. To over-simplify, that's equal outcomes, not equal opportunities

Well that's a bad promise then isn't it? I don't want any opportunities (that I may have to take up and lose some of my precious "personal time") if I can get that same comfy lifestyle outcome by investing time on my playstation.

You don't need to. All you need to do is change the law. There is the will amongst the people to do this. There isn't the spine amongst the political types to do it.
