Meanwhile, back in the real world, where the rest of us live - we know that it takes many factors combining just so, to create the conditions for an accident and how serious the result may be.
Oh, and I see you haven't met our friend Lady Luck. She sometimes makes a guest appearance. At the oddest moments. Or not.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

There are anecdotal reports (no links, nothing official) of certain elements within what used to be LTSA (and is now God knows what), who have projected accident statistics through to 2050, which appear to factor in an apparent disappearance of motorcycle accidents. The implication being either that every motorcyclist by then is a clone of Mr Katmn, and thus none will ever crash; or that motorcyclists have in some (unspecified) way been forced off the road.

While I suspect that there may be some truth in those reports (I'm sure that some people at LTSA would LIKE bikes off the road), I very much doubt that such a program would be politically feasible. And most definately not after BIKEOI! . One corollary benefit of the success of BIKEOI! is that any bureaucrats thinking of taking aim at motorcyclists will be doing some hard rethinking. Bikers have proclaimed themselves a political force.

If an increase of pricing made such a huge reaction I can imagine the reaction if they made any move to get bikes off the road...

You try to be a keyboard warrior, but the only place your great is in your mind, which Im sure is fuelled by the green rep you recieve. If you had a bad accident, which I hope that you never do and had to go through similar to myself, first the surgery in the public hospital, then rehab at the spinal hospital and two years later finally go home and have to do most of it yourself. I have no doubt at all that your feable weak mind would easily have snapped like a dry twig. I know a guy who was injured way less than me, had an awesome wife and kids. He couldn't cope with his disability and as soon as he got the chance, shoved a barrel in his mouth and bang. Thats you scatman, you live outside reality already and if it was to ever crash down on you, you would be screwed. A med review might be a good start for you, living in reality is a healthy thing and not bad, despite what your voices might say.

I have no idea of what pussy is on about. I had two logins when I joined kiwibiker, many people did which was years before my accident and the two profiles was merged together by spankme. I used to wind people up and stir sh1t to the extreme. Im guessing pussy got picked on and never got over it. I was almost 2 years in hospital and was only ever inlinefour. So what ever pussy is whinging about, he is just living up to his name. Maybe he needs to have his name changed to arse, because a pussy can be such a great thing.

Please enlighten me, simply because I have no idea of what your on about. There was "johnny rotten" that I used to stir with and "inlinefour", both being merged well before I ever had an accident. From then I didn't have much time for this profile and KB, so produce the facts. Posting that something happened does not make it so, it just suggests that your stirring also.

The guy lost one leg not both after a failed attempt at passing a truck on a bend. Turns out he collected an oncoming car driven by a friend of a friend.
She had her young son in the car with her at the time and is still very distraught.

On the positive side - perhaps they just put the last few years accidents in a graph and we fell off the Y axis in 2035
They called it paradise, I don't know why.
Call someplace paradise, kiss it goodbye.
