    AAAGH, silly season!

Just finished my annual christmas run on my bike to deliver christmas goodies to some of my good clients and was taken back at how many bikers dont like their skin, maybe it grows back quicker than mine. I know its stinkin hot 2day but personally i'd rather keep my skin on thanks very much. T shirt and shorts dont do much when a car pulls out in front of you or a dog runs across the road. Over half of the bikers i've just seen wernt wearing gear!! Come on everyone keep it upright and keep it safe. Remember its the other stupid driver you have to consider.

That's the point though isn't it?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

yea but by the time they crash the stats already go up, and i bet the same people that complain about correct gear also have some dodgy riding habits from time to time. They shouldn't have to change the gear they use just because of some lying national pricks who are trying to make it sound worse than it is. If everyone else who uses ACC paid their own way we wouldn't be paying so much, either, but no one here ever complains about push bikers or rugby players that don't wear ATGATT

you havent seen cool til you've been to aus in 35-40 degree summers, where all the bikers wear nothing but "flip flops", surf shorts, a singlet and helmet, but still wheelie from traffic light to traffic light lol

I nearly passed out while waiting to pay at the service station (slightly exaggerated) due to the heat today.

Just took the winter linings out of my gear, and got my summer gloves out. My summer gloves are so much lighter it almost feels like I'm wearing nothing.

What, no underwear with a growly tiger on the front like Robbie Williams?

Except we are pre-funding ACC, and paying for all the prior years at the moment.

Spotted 9 bikes in 40 minutes this arvo, only one not wearing shorts & t-shirt. He was wearing a leather singlet & a moustache. Do these riders not know the risk they are taking? The chances of getting melanoma are huge. Hope they slip, slop & slap before a ride. And another thing, what about bees? Imagine a suprised bumbler shooting up your stubby leg at 120kmh, braking arse first into your trouser plums. Oooooooooooh!
To the guy on the silver rented scooter, yeah, you with the board shorts jandals & open face helmet. You have no hairs on your chest & no matter how hard you twist, it won't go any faster.
    Silly season indeed.
