Oh yes they are. The polis are paid by the government to collect from motorists. No different to the wallahs at Inland Revenue.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

The government employ the Police! Who employs the government? Us....the people!

The Police are working for Us the people, they are doing "our" bidding!

What they do to us, is because of us, we make the rules through the politicians that we employ!

It's quite clear to me who the fuckwits are in this case! Merry Christmas fellow fuckwits!

Okay, so it's a roundabout argument.

The cops collect revenue for the government. The government spends money on us, so that means the polis collect money for us.

Does that make us revenue collectors, through the votes we make once every election?

    Hey, here's a gimme............

If you really think ticketing is all about revenue collecting, fix the bastards (yes, me) by not allowing me to write you a ticket............don't break the law. That way, I'll be unable to write tickets.

It's a no brainer really. Check it out.............

Restore driver responsibility and consequence by clearing out outdated ridiculous meaningless road laws!

Fewer but more meaningful laws! Harsher penalties! More support for the police by the judiciary and law society! (The general public will soon follow)

Introduce a balance of reduced speed areas with increased speed areas!

Improve the standard of our roads, especially in so called "Blackspot" areas "quickly"! (rather than just talking about it for 100years)

Drivers who have self respect, respect for the law and respect for our country, will be better drivers, because they all want to be safe!

Stop treating everyone not like children but like responsible adults!

New Zealand roads are safe despite the law enforcement, not because of it!

With the correct inducements we can and should be able to do better!

We are all responsible mature citizens, kick the arse of those who are not (for a change) and kick them fucking hard!

For most cops that idea is great and really works. Unfortunately there are some who just must meet their quota so they will give tickets even to people who are obeying the road rules. There are too many documented cases of this happening to deny it, and we now have dedicated cop(s) facing perjury charges because they have been caught out.

Most cops are good bastards doing a tough job. Like in all walks of life there are a few who aren't. These are the revenue collectors.
    Time to ride

But the Lawyers are paid to allow "the (ALLEDGED) accused" to get them off, or reduce the penaltys ... all in accordance with the law.

Blackspots are where more people fuck-up on the road more often than other places ... usually those who can not, or will not, drive to the conditions...

Yep - you could explain why so many of New Zealand's ordinary citizens never, ever have any issues at all - yet people like you seem to cop it all the time.

    Perhaps its not them?

Perhaps that explains a lot about him...when his eyes are open he has dots dancing in front of them?
