They use to make a GN400. Find a motor and put that it. Not many people would know the difference.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Would it be possible to fit a gsxr1000 engine into a gn250? We could play around with the frame and tank ehaust seat suspension etc, Ive got a few people im trying to contact but they arent answering txt's. I know it sounds almost mentally ill crazy for thinking of such a thing but we only live once.

Ambitious would not be the word I would use to describe. Why don't you do something plausible like use a DR650 engine or something...

Just to clarify, I wasnt even trolling when I suggested pnuematic valve springs, if you want to do summat really ultimate thats the way to go. Go for the highest rpm out of a single piston engine (4T) record dunno what it currently is, but I doubt its much more than 15k-ish.

Before you put a bigger motor in you should learn to ride first you homo.

blahahaa what a fucking waste of a gixxa by putting it into one of them things. any way you will bend the frame and just fuck everything because there is too much power, and to much weight, maybe just get a real gsxr1000 and stop being a tight cunt

Whilst Dean may be a homo - You should give credit where credit is due.

The kid is out there fucking around with a bike, learning and having some fun. Good on him. Some of the things he will do to it will be to your taste - others bits not - but its his (or his stepdads) bike and to be honest I admire his tenacity and doing something with the GN - esp how he is continuing to play on the old GN anger thread.

So - well done Dean. I think it looks like arse - but I bet you are having a ton of fun, learning bits in your research and I bet that once you have finished even you will enjoy riding your ultimate GN250.

Hell - I might try and pick one up to do something similar with my kid.

More of us should be doing stuff like this.

I like it, not so sure about the GSXR1000 though, but will be good for a lark if it works. :P

Get over it, Dean. People will have a laugh on the net and telling them they should be ashamed is laughable in itself. If you're seriously considering a gixxer thou in a gn, you're... Nevermind. What you are doing is putting a crazy powerful engine in a shitty frame that will bend from the weight alone, nevermind well over 100hp being put down the back wheel. I've no idea why that seems like a good idea to you. I can see why people put powerful oversized engines from full sized bikes in pocket bikes, because it is funny and insane to have such a little bike with all that motor, and I can see why people hot up gn250 motors, because you are "pushing the limits" of what an actual gn 250 can do, but putting a different engine in it is just pointless IMO. Hell, even a gixxer thou engine in a dirtbike or... Pocket bike would have more obvious value than that.

It's a good thing you have all these youtube videos to post Dean, otherwise we wouldn't realise what brilliantly witty guy you are.
